Download missing ComfyUI models into the container

Install workflow models server-side rather than downloading them to your computer.

Before you start

Use the updated certified iSpeedHost ComfyUI image with server-side model downloads. Existing rentals using an older image may need an image update. Check model license and available disk space.

Steps

  1. Open the workflow and inspect the Missing Models list in Workflow Overview.
  2. Use Download for one model or Download all for the workflow. In the updated image, these controls queue downloads inside the container.
  3. Watch the download panel for progress or errors. Avoid running the workflow until each required model has completed.
  4. Refresh the model lists if needed and confirm the node selects the downloaded filename.
  5. Run a small test and keep completed models in /workspace/comfyui. Back up files before destroying the rental.

Check the result

The required model appears in the container model list and the missing-model warning clears. Completed models persist through a supported rental stop/start.

Troubleshooting

If clicking Download saves a file in the browser, the rental may still use an older image; ask support to verify its image version. Gated models require accepting the model provider’s license and using your own credentials over SSH. An incomplete download may need retrying after a restart.
