Before you start
Use a supported native download from the official CLI page and read its platform notes. Current macOS binaries are unsigned and not notarized; Apple signing remains pending.
Steps
- Download the correct platform archive from the official page and verify its SHA-256 against the published checksums.
- Extract it, place ispeed-ctl on your PATH, and run ispeed-ctl --help.
- Create a customer API key in the console and provide it through ISPEED_API_KEY in a protected environment or auth login --token-stdin. Do not put keys in command arguments.
- List accounts, then use the intended account ID.
- Run read-only services list and billing wallet commands before trying mutations.
Example
ispeed-ctl --help
ispeed-ctl account list
ispeed-ctl account use ACCOUNT_ID
ispeed-ctl services list
ispeed-ctl billing walletCheck the result
The CLI authenticates and reports resources and wallet information for the selected account.
Troubleshooting
Do not assume a package is signed because it has a checksum. Follow your organization’s macOS security policy and official release notes. A command’s presence does not mean its model or product is enabled for purchase.
