Upload download and organize files in the storage browser

Use the console file browser and verify stored content without exposing credentials.

Before you start

Have an active storage or DocVault AI service with file-browser access. Check your plan’s file and storage limits.

Steps

  1. Open the service and choose Browse Files or Library.
  2. Create a folder if needed, then upload a small file using the browser’s upload action.
  3. Verify the filename and size after upload. Use preview for supported files or download the file to inspect it locally.
  4. Organize files using the available folder controls. Keep a separate backup of irreplaceable originals.
  5. Delete a file only when you no longer need it, and review any warning about linked documents or workspaces.

Check the result

Files appear in the intended service and can be read or downloaded by the owning account.

Troubleshooting

For failed uploads, check file size, remaining capacity, network interruptions, and the service status. Uploading a document for AI use can require indexing in addition to storing the file.
